The Prince of Wales Inn is situated just 8 minutes from junction 38 of the M4, 7 minutes away from the popular Margam Country Park and 10 minutes drive from the seaside resort of Porthcawl.

 

To find us from the m4, Exit at junction 38 signposted Port Tablot/Margam. Follow signs towards North Cornelly/Porthcawl/Kenfig Nature Reserve.
 

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Three and a half miles from the town of Porthcawl, The Prince of Wales Inn is within easy reach

of the Kenfig National Nature Reserve, Pyle and Kenfig Golf Course, Margam Park, Coney Beach Pleasure Park, Trecco Bay Holiday Park and Wiggleys Fun Farm.

Kenfig is suitable for walkers, joggers and horse riders alike!

There are great walks and cycle routes on our doorstep,

including ever so popular Kenfig to Sker Beach route via Kenfig Burrows.

At the Prince of Wales we are dog friendly, so join us for refreshments after walking your four legged friend!


KENFIG NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

The Prince of Wales Inn sits overlooking the Kenfig National Nature Reserve.

The reserve is an Area of Special Conservation, home to one of the largest series of species-rich dune slacks

in Wales, dominated by a variety of rare plants and animals.

Situated on the edge of the reserve is Kenfig Pool,

Glamorgan's largest lake and second largest freshwater lake in South Wales.
